Job summary

HumanSignal in Hoboken, NJ is seeking a Scene Assistant / Production Coordinator to support scripted recording sessions. This hands-on role focuses on organizing scripts, coordinating participants, preparing filming environments, and ensuring smooth production.

You’ll work closely with the Director and Tech Ops to maintain schedules, manage props, and track session progress across days. The position is on-site with up to 40 hours per week and competitive hourly pay.

• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong planning and coordination skills to anticipate production needs.
• Proactive, resourceful, and able to own day-to-day logistics.
• Ability to follow detailed scripts and production requirements.

Responsibilities

• Plan and organize scripts for sessions, coordinating schedules and priorities.
• Track scripts and takes to show production progress.
• Coordinate script assignments and participant pairings for variety.
• Review scripts to identify props, materials, and setups.
• Source and prepare props and filming environments across rooms.
• Review bookings to ensure scripts, environments, and resources are ready.
• Support on-set execution by managing transitions and props.
• Work with Director and Tech Ops to maintain schedules and resolve issues.
• Maintain session records and communicate outstanding tasks.
