Job summary

Leidos is seeking Scanner Operators to work on-site in Washington, DC, supporting the Department of Justice’s National Fraud Enforcement Division. The role includes operating scanning equipment, generating OCR text, and preparing documents for processing.

Candidates should have one year of imaging equipment experience, be a US citizen capable of obtaining a Public Trust clearance, and demonstrate strong attention to detail and communication skills.

Qualifications

• One year experience with image scanning and conversion equipment.
• Experience with Canon or Xerox equipment.
• Ability to set up, operate, and perform routine maintenance on these machines.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain a Public Trust clearance.

Responsibilities

• Operates digital image scanning equipment to capture images and generate OCR text.
• Follows scanning and quality control procedures to produce digital files in the required format.
• Prepare documents for scanning by disassembling and reassembling as needed.
• Record file-level information and maintenance logs for equipment.
