Job summary

Leidos is seeking Scanner Operators to work on-site in Washington, DC, supporting the Department of Justice, National Fraud Enforcement Division. You will operate Canon or Xerox scanners, capture images, and generate OCR text while following strict quality controls.

The role requires one year of hands-on image scanning experience, ability to perform routine maintenance, and a keen eye for detail under tight deadlines. US citizenship and ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance are required.

Qualifications

• One year experience with image scanning and conversion equipment (Canon or Xerox).
• Set up, operate, and perform routine maintenance on these machines.
• Attention to detail is important.
• Ability to produce high quality work under time pressures.

Responsibilities

• Operate digital image scanning equipment to capture images and generate OCR text.
• Follow scanning and quality control procedures to produce digital files.
• Prepare documents for scanning by disassembling/reassembling as needed.
• Record file-level information and maintenance logs.
