Job summary

Arcadia Publishing, a leader in local history titles, seeks an Account Specialist to serve as the primary contact between customers, merchandisers, and Arcadia. This entry-level role manages account communication, onboarding, and replenishment shipments.

You will coordinate with store teams, review merchandiser reports, and support merchandising and field audit activities while maintaining strong customer service and accurate data through Salesforce and related tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; 1-2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination.
• Knowledge of basic computer functions, Microsoft Office suite (including superb Microsoft Excel abilities), content management systems, sales order processing systems, customer relationship management systems, sales reporting software.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to present information in a professional manner.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate store level communication between customers and Arcadia, either directly or indirectly via phone and email.
• Assist with customer needs such as returns, damaged products, store closures, etc.
• Coordinates replenishment shipments, merchandising, and tracking for each account using Salesforce and other tools available
• Reviews merchandiser reports (including all photos) on a routine basis to ensure product is properly placed in store, and to identify inventory issues, using Salesforce and other tools available
• Supports new account onboarding and setup.
• Manages the 3rd party merchandiser relationship for all accounts
• Provides notification and tracking information as required
• Facilitates monthly meetings with merchandiser partners
• Acts as primary owner for all issues related to their accounts
• Works with appropriate personnel to resolve issues
• Other Sales Support duties as assigned
