Job summary

Smyrna Ready Mix, LLC is seeking a Scalehouse Operator to support day-to-day scale operations and administrative tasks. You will be the first contact for customers, drivers, vendors, and visitors, and must maintain a positive, go-getter attitude while building strong relationships.

The role emphasizes safety, accurate scale tickets, customer service, and teamwork. Strong computer skills and basic math help with data entry, reports, and daily reconciliation. Overtime and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Construction/aggregate industry experience is a plus.
• Strong computer and basic math skills.
• Detail-oriented with accurate data entry.

Responsibilities

• Comply with safety rules and government regulations.
• Produce accurate scale tickets for trucks.
• Assist customers with purchase decisions.
• Respond to customer questions and telephone calls.
• Assist loaders and haulers when needed.
• Maintain cash, COD records and daily reports.
• Scale/scale house maintenance.
• Assure correct weight and correct product out of pit.
• Provide aggregate dispatch and customer service.
• Assist Quarry Manager with QC duties.
