SRM Concrete in Punta Gorda, FL is seeking a Scalehouse Operator to support daily scale operations, process tickets for trucks, assist customers, and maintain accurate records. You’ll interact with drivers, vendors and visitors, ensuring safety and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Go-getter mentality is a must.
• Customer service experience is a plus.
• Previous experience in the construction/aggregate industry is a plus.
• Good understanding of computers and basic math (addition, subtraction, division).
• Detail-oriented and accurate data entry skills.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision while maintaining a team mentality.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Problem-solving skills.
• Organizational skills.
• Ability to handle multiple demands and work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Comply with all industry safety rules, procedures and applicable government regulations.
• Produce accurate computer printed scale tickets for trucks.
• Assist customers with purchase decisions.
• Respond to customer questions and telephone calls.
• Assist loaders and haulers when needed.
• Maintain cash, COD records and daily reports.
• Miscellaneous office work and scale/scale house maintenance.
• Assure correct weight and correct product out of pit.
• Provide aggregate dispatch and customer service.
• Assist with Quarry Manager with QC duties.
