Tilcon New York Inc. is seeking a Scale Operator for the West Nyack Quarry. The role involves weighing inbound and outbound vehicles, recording weights and ticketing for billing, and communicating with drivers and internal teams.

Responsibilities include data entry, reporting, and ensuring accuracy of material destination and customer orders, with emphasis on safety and adherence to procedures. Flexible hours and potential overtime are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with 6 months clerical experience.
• State Certified Weighmaster License (scheduled upon hire).
• Must wear PPE and follow safety procedures at all times.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work professionally with others.
• Must be able to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be willing to travel and work away from home when required.
• Must be able to work 3rd shift.

Responsibilities

• Operate the scale system to accurately weigh incoming and outgoing vehicles.
• Issue tickets and ensure proper record of transactions.
• Record weight data for billing and inventory purposes; assist with reports.
