Job summary

Tilcon Connecticut Inc., a CRH company, has an immediate opening for a Scale Operator in a floating capacity throughout Connecticut. The Scale Operator is responsible for accurately processing stone and asphalt transactions, coordinating trucking activities between jobs and plants, preparing reports, and providing exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders.

This position requires a high level of accuracy, organization, flexibility, and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Requires high accuracy, organization, flexibility and professionalism.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Connecticut Public Weigher's License.

Responsibilities

• Weigh trucks and accurately process transactions for aggregates and asphalt.
• Maintain accurate customer, job, product, trucking and haul-rate information.
• Process customer orders by phone and schedule deliveries.
• Coordinate trucking between jobsites and production facilities.
• Reconcile daily cash transactions and maintain reports.
• Provide excellent customer service to customers, drivers, vendors and employees.
