Job summary

Tilcon New York Inc., a CRH company, is seeking a Scale Operator for the West Nyack Quarry. You will weigh inbound and outbound vehicles, record weights, and prepare tickets for billing while ensuring accurate product and destination data.

The role emphasizes safety, customer service, and timely data entry, with hours 5am-3pm and potential to work at other Tilcon NY locations as needed. Bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School or its equivalent, plus at least 6 months’ experience in clerical work.
• State Certified Weighmaster License (scheduled upon hire).
• Experience in customer service and end of day reconciliation.
• Must be willing to travel and work away from home when required.
• Must be able to work 3rd shift.

Responsibilities

• Operate the scale system to accurately weigh incoming and outgoing vehicles.
• Issue tickets via Command platforms and ensure proper record of transactions.
• Verify material, truck number and destination of material are accurate for Tilcon delivered orders and customer pick up.
• Record weight accurately into system for billing and inventory purposes.
• Dispatch trucks using the daily schedule for delivered loads.
