Job summary

Tilcon Connecticut Inc. seeks a Scale Operator to float across Connecticut locations, weighing trucks, processing transactions, and coordinating deliveries.

The role requires accuracy, organization, and the ability to travel to multiple sites to support operational needs. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, prior customer service or related experience, and the ability to obtain a Connecticut Public Weigher's License.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior customer service, retail, administrative, or construction experience preferred.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Connecticut Public Weigher's License.
• Willingness to travel to multiple Tilcon Connecticut locations statewide.

Responsibilities

• Weigh trucks and accurately process transactions for aggregates, asphalt, and other construction materials in compliance with state regulations and company policies.
• Prepare and maintain daily sales reports and monthly inventory reports.
• Coordinate trucking activities between jobsites and production facilities.
• Provide excellent customer service to customers, truck drivers, vendors, and employees.
• Maintain accurate files and records in accordance with company procedures.
• Process customer orders received by telephone and schedule material deliveries.
