Permian Basin Materials is seeking a Mobile Scale Clerk to operate the scale for all loaded trucks leaving the facility, ensuring they are safe and within weight restrictions. The role includes handling customer tickets and inventory accuracy, coordinating with the operations team, and processing payments for COD accounts.

The position emphasizes strong work ethic, teamwork, and ability to follow company policies, with responsibilities spanning ticketing, billing, and safety training.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of relevant experience in office administration preferred.
• Microsoft Office applications experience required.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Operate the scale for all loaded trucks leaving the facility to ensure safety and compliance with weight restrictions.
• Greet and assist external callers and the public in a courteous and professional manner.
• Respond to product inquiries and prepare price quotes; set up corresponding jobs in the tracking system.
• Ticket trucks and transmit tickets for billing using the company systems.
• Coordinate daily with the Operations Manager and loader operator for material inventories information.
• Assist with daily dispatching and vendor-related tasks as needed.
• Maintain records for cash accounts, deposits, and petty cash.
• Ensure site visitors receive site-specific safety training and that attendance is documented.
