Job summary

City of Clermont is seeking a SCADA Network Administrator to configure and support the City's SCADA network and related devices. The role reports to the Information Technology Network Manager and ensures secure, reliable operation of process control systems in the Environmental Services Department.

Qualifications

• Associate of Science in Information Technology or closely related field.
• Knowledge of systems administration and support principles.
• Ability to assist users with software/hardware transitions and troubleshooting.
• Experience with Ethernet, IPv4, VLANs, and network interfaces.
• Valid Florida driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Installs and maintains control network hardware and software.
• Monitors and troubleshoots SCADA and control systems for secure operation.
• Interfaces with IT staff, vendors, and other staff to implement SCADA solutions.
• Creates and maintains documentation of complex systems including network diagrams and process flows.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
