Job summary

The Florida Section of the American Water Works Association is seeking an advanced technical professional to support maintenance, inspection, testing and calibration of agency equipment to ensure production of quality water. You will maintain and program PLCs, calibrate flow meters, generators, UPS, VFDs, chemical gas sensors and chemical feed systems as part of the SCADA network.

A strong candidate will have instrumentation and electronics experience, NEC/NFPA 70E familiarity, and the listed

Qualifications

  • Two years’ instrumentation/electronics experience in water infrastructure maintenance.
  • Basic understanding of NEC and NFPA 70E.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain, inspect, test and calibrate agency equipment to ensure water quality.
  • Maintain and program PLCs; calibrate flow meters, generators, UPS, VFDs, sensors and chemical feeds.
  • Collaborate with teams to support SCADA operations and process improvements.
