Job summary

Aqua, an Essential Utilities company, is seeking a qualified PLC/SCADA technician to support our water and wastewater facilities. You will troubleshoot PLC/OIT/HMI programs, maintain field communications, and work with operations staff to ensure reliable plant performance.

With a minimum of five years in a related field and an Associate’s degree, you will contribute to projects from concept through startup, while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or relevant technical experience required.
• Minimum of 5 years in related field preferred.
• Experience with PLC/SCADA systems and network diagnostics.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and maintains PLC, OIT, and HMI programs used to operate water/wastewater facilities.
• Maintains communications devices such as switches, radios, routers, and modems.
• Collaborates with operations staff to resolve monitoring and control issues within SLAs.
• Delivers turnkey systems from development to startup and commissioning.
