Job summary

Orange County Utilities, part of Orange County Government, is seeking a skilled SCADA Administrator to operate and maintain our telemetry system across wastewater facilities. You will implement process improvements and manage contractor maintenance to keep remote and local assets running.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in MIS/CS/Engineering and 3 years’ telemetry experience, with hands-on work in Siemens WinCC, ST7, and TIA Portal.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in MIS/CS/Engineering or related field.
• 3 years of telemetry systems experience installing software, data analysis and troubleshooting hardware.
• Experience with Siemens WinCC HMI, ST7cc Telecontrol, TIA Portal V19.

Responsibilities

• Administers SCADA system and security.
• Configures WinCC HMI, ST7cc Telecontrol, and TIA Portal.
• Troubleshoots Windows Server issues and updates OS.
• Maintains PLCs and field IO devices and communicates with IT.
• Trains operations staff and supports on‑call emergency repairs.
• Coordinates with vendors for repairs and upgrades.
