Job summary

Veolia North America, LLC is seeking a SCADA Controls Engineer to support operations across surface water and wastewater facilities. You will maintain and troubleshoot control systems, ensure cybersecurity compliance, and enhance preventative maintenance for instrumentation and PLC/HMI devices.

The role requires hands-on experience with SCADA data, remote facilities, and collaboration with operations, engineering, and corporate teams. Some night/weekend shifts are required.

Qualifications

• BS degree in engineering or related field or 5+ years experience in the described work area.
• Experience with PLC/HMI systems required and knowledge of control networks beneficial.
• Familiarity with Rockwell, GE Proficy, GeoSCADA or similar control system packages.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot SCADA control systems for surface water and wastewater facilities.
• Ensure SCADA standards comply with Veolia, industry, state and federal cybersecurity rules.
• Develop preventative maintenance activities for instrumentation and control devices.
• Manage data acquisition from SCADA and ensure data quality for operations.
• Provide night/weekend emergency coverage as needed and support remote locations.
• Oversee vendors for control system work and coordinate with internal groups.
