Job summary

Attractivate Consulting Solutions is seeking an experienced SCADA Design Engineer to design, configure, and manage SCADA systems for critical utility infrastructure. You will bridge OT and IT, shaping secure, scalable control solutions across electric, water, wastewater, and gas distribution environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer/Systems Engineering or related field required.
• 5+ years SCADA engineering experience in utility environments.
• Hands-on experience with major SCADA platforms (GE iFIX, Wonderware/AVEVA, OSIsoft PI, Ignition, ABB Ability).
• Strong knowledge of utility protocols: DNP3, Modbus TCP/RTU, IEC 61850, ICCP.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop SCADA system architectures, including HMI/SCADA screens, alarms, trends, and historians.
• Lead engineering designs for deployments and upgrades from concept to commissioning.
• Collaborate with IT/OT to ensure secure, scalable solutions and regulatory compliance (NERC CIP, NIST).
• Support FAT/SAT, commissioning, cutover planning, and 24/7 operations troubleshooting.
