Job summary

City of Lauderhill is seeking a skilled professional to maintain, plan, develop, and program SCADA, HMI, RTU, and PLC hardware and software for the city. This role requires coordinating with the Utility Operations and Maintenance team to ensure continuous operation of control systems.

The candidate will monitor process control computers, develop graphics, and respond to emergencies while adhering to regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in computer science, software application, or related field.
• Two (2) years’ experience working with public lift-stations and SCADA systems.
• Valid State of Florida Driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, plan, develop, and program SCADA, HMI, RTU, PLC software and hardware for the City.
• Provide solutions to maintain continuous, effective operation of control computers and related hardware.
• Monitor DEES facilities process control computers and communications; establish operational policies and recommend revisions.
• Initiate and direct process control computers, hardware, software, and troubleshooting.
• Develop and calibrate equipment; troubleshoot emergencies to ensure rapid repair.
