Job summary

Toho Water Authority seeks an experienced SCADA Technician with strong PLC programming and network troubleshooting skills to support critical water and wastewater operations. You will manage SCADA equipment, lead troubleshooting, and implement system upgrades while maintaining documentation and providing staff training.

Required are related technical education or equivalent experience and a Florida driver’s license.

Qualifications

• The candidate has an Associate’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Electronics or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 6 years’ SCADA development and maintenance experience preferred.
• Florida Driver’s License Class E is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage SCADA system equipment, components, and assets.
• Lead troubleshooting of SCADA network communications.
• Program, install, and test PLCs and network devices.
• Develop and maintain documentation, reports, and backups.
• Provide training to technicians and operations staff.
