Job summary

The City of Lauderhill is seeking a technically skilled professional to maintain and enhance SCADA, HMI, RTU, and PLC systems across DEES facilities. You will design graphics, coordinate with MIS, and ensure reliable control of water treatment and distribution systems.

Responsibilities include monitoring and troubleshooting equipment, developing control functions, and supporting regulatory reporting while working with a team of utility professionals.

Qualifications

• Requires Associate’s degree in computer science, software applications, or related field.
• Requires two (2) years of experience with public lift-stations and SCADA systems.
• Valid State of Florida Driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, plan, develop, and program SCADA, HMI, RTU, PLC software and hardware.
• Provide solutions to keep control computers and related hardware running efficiently.
• Develop and calibrate equipment, monitor processes, and troubleshoot emergencies.
