City of Lauderhill is seeking a SCADA Systems Specialist to maintain, plan, develop, and program SCADA, HMI, RTU, and PLC software/hardware under the department director. Responsibilities include adding features to graphics and automation capabilities and ensuring reliable operation of control systems.

The role requires an associate degree and two years of SCADA experience, plus a Florida driver’s license. CJIS security training is preferred.

Formación

• Associate’s degree in computer science, software application, or other related field.
• Two (2) years’ experience working with public lift-stations and SCADA systems.
• Valid State of Florida Driver’s license.

Responsabilidades

• Provides solutions to problems to maintain continuous operation of control computers and related hardware.
• Insures facilities and process control computers perform at optimal levels.
• Monitors data from SCADA systems and coordinates daily operations.
