Job summary

City of Coco is seeking an experienced SCADA Analyst II to oversee development, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of SCADA systems across the Water Utility. You will modify and write programs for Invensys Wonderware HMI, Siemens TIA Portal, Step Seven, and ladder logic, and assist with security and IT integration.

The role requires strong troubleshooting and collaboration with the City IT department, readiness for on-call responsibilities, and experience with PLCs and field devices.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or military electronics training with 2 years SCADA/PLC/HMI experience, or 5 years relevant work.
• HMI/PLC certifications preferred but not required.
• Valid Florida driver's license or ability to obtain one within 45 days.

Responsibilities

• Install and integrate instrumentation and devices into SCADA across the Water Utility System.
• Ensure SCADA functionality, upgrades, and system improvements.
• Troubleshoot IT/SCADA issues with City IT department coordination.
• Develop and troubleshoot historian/reporting integrated into reports.
• Repair field devices, perform data backups, and coordinate with contractors.
• Maintain SCADA network, HMI, and PLCs; standby availability.
