Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent technical training or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Direct experience in pipeline operations, gas control, scheduling, processing, or compression.
• Experience with maintenance management applications is preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Access, Outlook and PowerPoint.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and sound judgment for safe operations.
• Regular and reliable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and resolve problems related to natural gas flows, pressures and related activities.
• Ensure all pipeline requirements under DOT Order 192 are followed.
• Assist in identifying and resolving pipeline and communication problems.
• Minimize imbalances due to unusual occurrences.
• Control and re-route gas flows via SCADA to maintain safe operations.
• Track and evaluate maintenance schedules and notify internal customers to minimize downtime.
• Recognize, analyze and resolve issues and take corrective action during emergencies.
• Calculate, research and verify pipeline load requirements and imbalances for special projects.
• Prepare information regarding start/stop of receipts, deliveries and field callouts; update event logs.
• Assist in resolving various operations issues as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
