Plains All American seeks a Pipeline Controller for our Midland, Texas location. You will operate pipelines remotely from our control center using the SCADA system, monitor pressures and tank levels, and respond to alarm conditions 24/7.

The role requires a 12-hour rotating shift, strong communication with field personnel and schedulers, and adherence to safety and DOT requirements. Local candidates are preferred, and training is provided.

Formación

• Knowledge of pipeline operations including gauging, station operations, hydraulics and related workflows.
• Able to read, write, and comprehend English.
• Good mathematics skills.
• Able to focus and switch tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to complete DOT Operator Qualification Training requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Control and monitor pipeline operations, maintain pressures and flow rates, and respond to alarms.
• Coordinate with field personnel and other control centers on movements and schedules.
• Complete daily paperwork and log major events; transmit reports to field locations.
• Complete required training and participate in safety meetings and drills.
• Respond to emergencies with safe shutdowns and proper reporting.
