Job summary
Black & Veatch seeks a SCADA Engineer to design and implement SCADA systems for substation modernization and renewable energy projects. You will develop hardware configurations, networks, datalinks, RTU/I/O setups, and HMI screens while ensuring cybersecurity and standards compliance.
The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering or CS and 5+ years of related work; Professional Engineer registration is preferred.
Qualifications
- Requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering or computer science with 5+ years of related work experience.
- Registration as a Professional Engineer is preferred; candidates may be considered with equivalent credentials.
- Experience with SCADA for substation and renewable energy projects is essential.
Responsibilities
- Generate engineering design documents and deliverables for SCADA systems.
- Provide oversight and lead lower-level engineering work on projects.
- Develop system architecture diagrams, network layouts, and configuration files.
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to ensure compliance with standards.
