Job summary

Pedernales Electric Cooperative is seeking an experienced SCADA/EMS Administrator to develop, monitor, and maintain the control system ensuring 24/7 availability for operators. You will oversee health, maintenance, and upgrades of the enterprise SCADA/EMS platform and support advanced grid automation initiatives.

The role requires a BA/BS in Electrical/Computer/IT Engineering and at least five years in utility-scale SCADA/EMS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Computer, or IT Engineering required.
• Five years of directly related work experience in utility-scale SCADA/EMS/ADMS preferred.
• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks (NERC/ERCOT) and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop, monitor, and maintain SCADA/EMS to ensure 24/7 system availability.
• Oversee health monitoring, maintenance, and upgrades of the SCADA platform.
• Configure and troubleshoot SCADA networks (LAN/WAN) and RTU communications.
