Position Description

Serco is seeking an SCA Supply Technician 1 to join our dynamic team supporting the Army National Guard (ARNG) Mission Command Training Support Program (MCTSP) at Fort Indiantown Gap in Pennsylvania. Join a committed team focused on ensuring operational supply chain excellence for critical training missions.

In this role, you will:

  • Perform technical supply management work (inventory management, storage management, cataloging, and property utilization) related to Mission Training Complex (MTC) supply activities, reporting to the Operations Team Manager.
  • Prioritize work by commodity area or function, allocating time according to task complexity and responsibility.
  • Catalogue inventory via barcode scanning.
  • Ensure all government-furnished equipment is properly hand-receipted at the end-user level.
  • Assist in ordering expendable and durable supplies.
  • Coordinate with the Transportation Motor Pool (TMP) when a government vehicle is required.
  • Assist the Facilities Manager with building maintenance, repairs, and preparation of work and service orders.
  • Perform assignments relating to stable or standardized segments of technical supply management operations or subjects narrow in scope.
  • Analyze program requirements along with specific variations from standardized guidelines.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

This is a Service Contract Act (SCA) position with an SCA rate of $27.40/hour, plus applicable health and welfare benefits.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED with a minimum of 10 years of experience working with U.S. Army Supply and Property Book procedures; or
  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 6 years of experience working with U.S. Army Supply and Property Book procedures; or
  • Master’s degree with a minimum of 4 years of experience working with U.S. Army Supply and Property Book procedures.
  • Must have or be able to obtain a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance.
  • Strong analytical ability to define and recognize problem dimensions, gather necessary data, establish facts, and recommend or take action based on established guidelines.
  • Must be able to lift and/or move at least 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to work on-site at Fort Indiantown Gap in Pennsylvania.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Thorough knowledge of Army supply chain and property accountability procedures.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple logistics processes efficiently.
  • Attention to detail to maintain inventory and asset accountability.
  • Ability to work independently and as a part of a cohesive team.

Additional desired experience and skills:

  • At least 20 years of experience with Army Supply and Property Book procedures.
