Our Client, a Retail Pharmacy company, is seeking a Pharmacy Technician with Prior Authorization experience for a remote position. Responsibilities include handling incoming calls from members, providers, and other stakeholders, providing professional assistance through the prior authorization process, maintaining accurate documentation of approvals and denials, and transferring clinical questions to pharmacists.
Requirements include at least 1 year of experience as a pharmacy technician in an administrative support role, preferably with prior authorization experience, national pharmacy technician certification (highly preferred), eligibility for state registration or licensure, advanced computer skills, and excellent customer service skills. A minimum of one year in a high-volume customer service or healthcare call center is required.
