PTCB CERTIFICATION REQUIRED!

Must be a current Licensed Pharmacy Technician in one of the following states: Arizona, Florida, Indiana, Iowa, Maine, Montana, Ohio, Texas, Utah, Idaho, Kentucky, Nebraska, North Carolina, South Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, Tennessee, or West Virginia.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 10:30am-7:00pm PST or 11:30am-8:00pm PST

Responsibilities

• Triaging, interpreting, and inputting orders into the computerized medication system with accuracy and efficiency, including auditing and corrections
• Performing drug calculations and conversions
• Resolving insurance denials and following up on claims in POS
• Maintaining knowledge of Medicaid claim regulations
• Producing reports on unpaid and pending claims
• Providing excellent customer service to internal and external customers
• Assisting with drug preparation and dispensing under supervision
• Performing other tasks as assigned, including assisting in various pharmacy areas

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Pharmacy-related experience
• Basic knowledge of drugs, terminology, and metric system; computer skills
• Licenses/Certifications as required by state regulations
• Detail-oriented, goal-driven, team player, customer service skills, good communication
