Husch Blackwell LLP is seeking an SBU Operations Manager to drive strategy and performance for the Financial Services & Capital Markets group. You will partner with leadership to grow business, optimize processes, and apply AI capabilities to improve service delivery.

The role emphasizes cross-functional leadership, budgeting, and talent development across a complex firm environment. A senior operations background is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 5+ years of experience in legal operations, practice management, or professional services leadership.
• Strong understanding of law firm economics, attorney workflows, and client service delivery.
• Exceptional communication, analytical, and project management skills.
• Proven ability to influence and collaborate across functions and levels.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Managing Director and SBU leader in executing the SBU’s strategic plan.
• Manage strategic projects and ensure objectives and results are delivered.
• Monitor industry trends and AI's evolving role in legal services and translate into actions.
• Support cross-functional projects to enhance SBU effectiveness.
• Prepare and present regular reports to leadership and support BD and client relationships.
