Husch Blackwell LLP seeks an SBU Operations Manager to lead strategic initiatives across the firm’s SBU, driving growth, client service, and efficiency. The role supports AI capabilities, pricing, and cross‑functional collaboration in a fast‑paced environment.

The position requires 5+ years in legal ops or practice management, strong law‑firm economics knowledge, and excellent communication and PM skills. Bachelor’s degree and AmLaw 100 experience preferred.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required.
5+ years in legal operations, practice management, or professional services leadership.
Strong understanding of law firm economics, attorney workflows, and client service delivery.
Exceptional communication, analytical, and project management skills.
Proven ability to influence and collaborate across functions and levels.

Responsibilities

Execute the SBU strategic plan with growth and market positioning initiatives.
Lead cross‑functional projects to improve efficiency and client service.
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and KPI reporting with Finance.
Drive human capital initiatives including recruitment and performance management.
Prepare regular reports to leadership and support business development and AI initiatives.
