Job summary

Husch Blackwell LLP seeks an experienced SBU Operations Manager to lead Strategy Implementation within the Financial Services & Capital Markets group. You will partner with the Managing Director to drive growth, client service, and market positioning across functions.

You will oversee budgeting, forecasting, and KPI tracking, coordinate cross-functional initiatives, and advance process improvements using the firm’s AI capabilities. A strong background in law-firm economics is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in legal operations, practice management, or professional services leadership.
• Strong understanding of law firm economics, attorney workflows, and client service delivery.
• Exceptional communication, analytical, and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute and support the SBU's strategic plan, including business growth and client development.
• Identify, design, and implement process improvements across the SBU for efficiency and quality.
• Develop and maintain KPIs, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Coordinate cross-functional initiatives with firm-wide operations and other departments.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and talent development within the SBU.
