Job summary

Husch Blackwell LLP is seeking an experienced SBU Operations Manager to lead strategy, operations, finance, and people initiatives for the Financial Services & Capital Markets group. This role may be based in the Central or Mountain time zones, with a preference for a city with an HB office.

You will partner with senior leaders to drive growth, optimize processes, and connect attorneys with AI tools to enhance client service and efficiency across the SBU.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 5+ years of experience in legal operations, practice management, or professional services leadership.
• Strong understanding of law firm economics, attorney workflows, and client service delivery.
• Exceptional communication, analytical, and project management skills.
• Proven ability to influence and collaborate across functions and levels.

Responsibilities

• Strategy: partner with leaders to execute strategic plan, drive growth and client development.
• Operational excellence: design process improvements and enable AI capabilities for service delivery.
• Financial: analyze budgeting, forecasting, and pricing alignment with AI-enabled delivery.
• Human capital: support recruitment, onboarding, and talent development across the SBU.
• Reporting: prepare regular updates and support business development and cross-functional initiatives.
