Job summary

HomeTrust Bank in the United States seeks an SBA Business Development Officer to source and structure SBA/USDA loan opportunities, price loans, and support processing from application through closing.

You will develop client relationships, analyze financial statements, ensure regulatory compliance, and coordinate with credit and closing teams to expand the government-guaranteed loan pipeline.

Qualifications

• Experience with SBA/USDA loan programs and government-guaranteed loans.
• Ability to analyze borrower financial statements and determine loan feasibility.
• Knowledge of bank lending policies and applicable regulations.

Responsibilities

• SBA and USDA Financing: manage initial application through decisioning, closing, and funding.
• Develop customer relationships and cross-sell banking products.
• Analyze client financials and assess loan program qualification.
• Collect documentation to process, underwrite, and close SBA loans with partners.
• Initiate business contacts to grow relationships and promote bank products.
• Maintain a government guaranteed loan pipeline.
• Counsel customers on SBA/USDA financing and review loan applications.
