Job summary

FFB Bank in Los Angeles seeks an experienced Government Guaranteed Lending Officer to drive SBA 7(a), 504, and USDA B&I loan growth. You will solicit, underwrite with guidance, and maintain strong client relationships while ensuring compliance with bank policies.

The role emphasizes leadership, coaching junior staff, and meeting production goals through proactive outreach, calls, and networking. Travel up to 75% is expected, and you will represent the bank in community settings to expand market

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field.
• 3–5 years of banking or financial services experience.
• Ability to align SBA goals with bank objectives; cross-department collaboration.
• Proven ability to cross-sell products and explain services.
• Knowledge of SBA 7(a), 504, and USDA B&I programs.

Responsibilities

• Generates new leads through outbound calls, emails, networking, and in-person meetings.
• Builds and maintains strong relationships with prospective and existing clients to drive long-term business.
• Coordinates with loan processor / closer and loan underwriter to assist with customer needs throughout loan transactions.
• Maintains working knowledge of SBA SOPs and regulatory manuals to support loan programs.
• Represents the Bank in community and industry events to expand market presence.
