Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a Loan Review Lead to support the SBA Office of Credit Risk Management (OCRM) by performing detailed reviews of 7(a) and 504 loan files. The role involves analyzing documentation, identifying compliance issues, and documenting findings to support lender oversight and risk management activities.

The position requires a bachelor's degree and five years of SBA loan experience, or nine years with equivalency, plus strong analytical skills and experience with regulatory

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years of recent experience working with SBA 7(a) and/or 504 loans, or nine (9) years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.
• Experience supervising teams and fostering staff development.
• Experience reviewing loan files for compliance, risk, and adherence to regulatory and program requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed reviews of 7(a) and 504 loan files across origination, servicing, liquidation, and lender oversight scopes.
• Analyze loan documentation, identify compliance issues, and document findings in work papers and reports.
• Prepare clear summaries and draft loan file review reports outlining condition, criteria, cause, effect, and corrective action.
• Use secure systems to manage file reviews, extract data, and support status reporting.
