Job summary

Commercial Bank of California (CBC) is seeking an SBA Business Development Officer to originate SBA loans and commercial credit solutions. You will identify lending opportunities, build a referral network, and guide clients through SBA processes from origination to funding.

The role requires deep SBA program knowledge, strong relationship skills, and a commitment to delivering tailored financial solutions that support client growth and community development.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years SBA lending experience.
• Strong knowledge of financial services.
• Outstanding communication and relationship management skills.
• Ability to generate sales utilizing productive marketing techniques.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develops new referral sources and new business prospects through outside calls, direct mail and sales presentations.
• Maintains existing client and referral source relationships by mail, telephone and in person.
• Develops and implements marketing plans for expanding business client base and identifies opportunities.
