Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a skilled SBA Loan Officer to originate SBA loans for owner/user commercial real estate financing. The role emphasizes outside sales to build profitable lending relationships, deliver tailored financing solutions, and manage the loan lifecycle from application to closing.

The ideal candidate will have extensive SBA lending knowledge, strong credit and analytical skills, and a proven ability to develop new business while managing customer relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Five to eight years of commercial credit, relationship banking or related experience.
• Strong relationship management, business development and SBA lending knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Develops contacts and leads to generate SBA loan financing for business customers.
• Consults with customers to identify financial goals and needs.
• Develops and promotes U.S. Bank products to meet customer needs.
• Gathers and analyzes credit information for SBA financing.
• Manages all facets of the loan process from application to closing.
• Deepens customer relationships by cross-selling other products.
