Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a seasoned lending professional to originate SBA loans for owner-users purchasing commercial real estate.

The role emphasizes outside sales, building profitable Specialty Finance relationships and delivering tailored banking solutions to business customers. The ideal candidate will have 5–8 years in commercial credit or relationship banking, strong analytical skills, and a deep understanding of SBA products and financial analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
• 5–8 years of commercial credit, relationship banking or other job-related experience

Responsibilities

• Develop SBA loan financing for business customers, primarily owner/users acquiring commercial real estate
• Generate SBA lending opportunities through cold calling and existing contacts
• Consult with customers to understand financial goals and needs and promote Bank products/services
• Prepare SBA loan packages, analyze credit information, and submit to SBA processing
• Manage all facets of the loan process from application to closing and funding
• Deepen relationships by cross-selling and referring clients to other Bank areas
