Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a high-impact business development professional focused on SBA lending and owner-occupied commercial real estate financing. You will spend most of your time in the market, developing Centers of Influence and serving as a trusted advisor to business owners and partners.

The role emphasizes external sales, relationship growth, and collaboration with internal teams, while managing SBA loans end-to-end. A hybrid schedule and strong credit/relationship skills are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Five to eight years in commercial credit or relationship banking.
• Experience in business development, B2B sales, and COIs.
• Knowledge of SBA lending products and SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and originate SBA loan opportunities with COIs and partners.
• Meet business owners at their site to assess operations and financing needs.
• Build and maintain profitable specialty finance relationships.
• Represent U.S. Bank at events to grow the brand and opportunities.
• Collaborate with Business Banking, Community, and Commercial teams.
• End-to-end SBA lending: originate, gather data, prepare packages, submit.
