Job summary

Ingredion Incorporated in Bridgewater, NJ, invites applications for a Summer 2027 Customer Innovation Technical Service Intern. You will support new product development in sauces and dressings, developing formulations, and preparing prototypes on a lab bench using GMP.

You’ll gather insights, perform analyses, and document technical reports with guidance from a manager. The role requires pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Food Science or related field with lab experience, two years of coursework

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree with laboratory research experience.
• Sophomore, junior, or non-graduating senior status.
• Ability to work safely in a laboratory environment.
• Ability to work 40 hours per week during the internship term.

Responsibilities

• Develop food formulations and prototypes on lab scale.
• Conduct analyses on prototypes using analytical tools and interpret results.
• Coordinate, summarize and report data from experiments.
• Present results and recommendations to management at internship end.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, biochemistry, Food or Chemical Engineering or related field
