Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Culinary arts degree preferred; extensive experience may substitute.
• 1–2 years of kitchen operations experience.
• Valid Food Manager Certification.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Passion for community engagement and providing exceptional customer experiences.

Responsibilities

• Represent Sur La Table’s brand and culture by creating memorable, educational experiences.
• Deliver savory cooking classes and drive sales of cookware and kitchen tools.
• Communicate technical cooking concepts in a clear and approachable manner.
• Assist with class setup, mise en place, and cleaning of workstations.
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards and SOPs.
