Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Culinary arts degree preferred; extensive culinary experience considered in lieu of formal education.
• 1–2 years of kitchen operations experience.
• Valid Food Manager Certification.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Passion for community engagement and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Responsibilities

• Represent Sur La Table’s brand by creating memorable, educational savory experiences.
• Deliver in-store savory cooking classes and drive sales of cookware and kitchen tools.
• Communicate culinary concepts clearly to customers.
• Maintain product and technique expertise through training and self-learning.
• Assist with class setup, prep, and equipment sanitation.
• Support store readiness by restocking and organizing kitchen supplies.
