Sur La Table is seeking a Chef Instructor, Savory to act as in-store expert and advocate for savory cooking. You will deliver hands-on classes, share culinary techniques, and support sales of cookware and kitchen tools.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Degree in culinary arts preferred; extensive culinary experience considered in lieu of formal education.
• 1-2 years of kitchen operations experience.
• Valid Food Manager Certification.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Passion for community engagement and providing exceptional customer experiences.

Responsibilities

• Represent Sur La Table’s brand by delivering memorable in-store culinary experiences.
• Lead savory cooking classes with clear recipes and consistent quality.
• Drive class enrollment and promote related retail items.
• Assist in class setup and maintain kitchen areas and equipment.
• Ensure food safety, sanitation, and compliance with SOPs.
• Maintain inventory levels and minimize waste.
