HEI Hotels is seeking a part-time Restaurant Cook for Saturdays with on-call availability at the Costa Mesa Marriott. Duties include preparing quality food, starting prep early, rotating perishables, and ensuring proper storage and control of food costs. Requires dexterity to operate kitchen machinery and ability to lift up to 100 lbs.

Strong communication skills are essential. Experience in hotel foodservice is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food of consistent quality following recipes and standards.
• Start prep for items planned ahead and manage par levels.
• Date and rotate perishables; keep buffet stocked and organized.
• Check stock levels, assist in reducing food costs and waste.
• Set up equipment and maintain cleanliness of kitchen tools and areas.
