Job summary

HEI Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Kitchen/Line Cook to prepare high-quality meals, support kitchen operations, and ensure food safety and freshness. The role requires standing most of the shift, lifting up to 100 lbs, and following recipe standards across PM shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Experience in hotel kitchens is preferred; training programs and benefits are provided. You will join a team that values Dallas area hospitality and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Hotel experience preferred.
• Dexterity to operate food machinery.
• Ability to grasp, lift and/or carry up to 100 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food of consistent quality following recipes and production standards as directed.
• Start items prepared ahead of time and manage prep to meet forecasted needs.
• Date, rotate and store perishables per HEI guidelines to maintain freshness.
• Check pars for shift usage and assist in keeping buffet stocked and organized.
• Return unused items to storage with proper labeling and dating.
• Assist in controlling food costs and minimizing waste as per standards.
