This role includes a Saturday evening shift and on-call coverage; you will rotate perishables, manage stock, and help control food costs while complying with HEI Hotels & Resorts standards.

Qualifications

• Hotel experience preferred.
• Dexterity to operate food machinery.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs.
• Effective verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food of consistent quality following recipes and standards.
• Start items prepared ahead of time and manage quantities.
• Rotate perishables and keep temperatures proper.
• Check pars, prepare, and restock buffet; note shortages.
• Return unused items to storage with dates.
• Assist in controlling food costs and waste.
• Operate and clean kitchen equipment.
• Be available to work on a regular basis.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
