Job summary

Together Women’s Health is hiring a PRN Saturday Medical Receptionist to deliver a warm, professional patient experience at the Lakewood location, with travel to nearby sites as needed. The role covers patient intake, scheduling, insurance verification, and payment collection, in a fast-paced radiology imaging environment.

Candidates should have at least 2 years in a medical office, experience with EHR systems, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years medical office or healthcare experience.
• Prior Radiology Imaging center experience preferred.
• Athena One experience strongly preferred.
• Previous patient care experience required.
• Proficiency with Electronic Health Record systems (Athena, Epic, MyChart) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients professionally and warmly.
• Manage check-in/check-out in the EHR system.
• Verify patient demographics and insurance information.
• Verify insurance eligibility and network status.
• Schedule, confirm, and coordinate patient appointments.
• Collect co-pays and verify payments per billing policies.
• Answer calls and assist patients with inquiries and scheduling.
• Prepare patient charts and ensure documentation is complete.
• Escort patients to exam areas and provide prep instructions.
• Maintain HIPAA confidentiality and follow all policies.
