Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications.
• 2+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience.
• 2+ years of experience working with space related electrical power and harness subsystems.

Responsibilities

• Define and refine requirements and develop verification artifacts for satellite electrical power and/or harness subsystems
• Perform detailed power subsystem analyses, including: Battery performance modeling and battery charge management planning
• Bus voltage regulation and stability analysis (including ripple and transients)
• Develop, maintain, and update vehicle-level power budgets for all mission phases
• Lead power subsystem architecture and sizing efforts, including block diagram development, solar array sizing, and battery capacity determination
• Collaborate across multidiscipline teams (thermal, mechanical, software, avionics) to ensure design integrity and subsystem compatibility
