AST SpaceMobile is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to design and test electrical harnesses for satellites and ground support equipment, collaborating with senior engineers on cutting‑edge aerospace projects.

You will create detailed schematics, select components, and develop test plans while ensuring compliance with industry standards. Strong collaboration, communication, and meticulous documentation are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering required.
• 2–5 years of industry experience.
• Experience in aerospace harness design preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, test, and support integration of electrical harnesses for spacecraft and ground systems.
• Create detailed schematics, select wiring, connectors, back shells, and harness components.
• Develop and execute test plans to verify harness functionality and performance.
• Analyze test data, troubleshoot issues, and ensure design requirements are met.
• Prepare interface control documents, system schematics, block diagrams, harness drawings, and installation procedures.
• Collaborate with power, RF, C&DH, and other subsystems for seamless integration.
